Transmission problem! 2002 jeep wrangler X

Tonight I was off roading with some friends and I had the clutch depressed, was giving it some gas, and as I was taking my foot of the clutch I slid off a rock. This caused me to accidentally give a lot of gas and drop the clutch at around 4500 rpm's.... The Jeep did not like this. I heard a bang noise and now my transmission will not engage. The shifter will move into the gear position but nothing happens. Please help and thanks.

You have done damage to the pressure plate, and/or throw out bearing. Either way, you will be spending some wrench time, and money.
