Trick to doors off?

Got an 02 w/ half doors and been dying to take em off lately. I got the jeep about a month ago and not really sure if the doors have ever been off. The nut that is supposed to be taken off the hinge is missing so assuming the previous owner may have tried, but I've been lifting pretty hard on the doors and just cant seem to get them to budge? Anyone got any tricks for getting the doors off? The windshield/mirror latches are pretty rusted so prolly replacing them and the door hinges soon so injuring these ones isn't too much of a concern

Any tips would be appreciate, thanks

Thread from earlier today:

And before you post your next question, pull fuse # 4 behind the glovebox.

When my time comes, mix my ashes with gunpowder encased in brass, point me towards murderer's and pedophile's and let me fly.

Try spraying some good lubricant down in the hinges and working the door open and closed as you pull up. I have heard that some guys will use a high lift to pop them up but i would be afraid i would bend something doing that. If you can ever get them off one time and keep them lubed it will be much easier from then all out. The good side is you dont have to worry about anyone stealing them.

I used liquid wrench and soaked for hours but the still wouldn't budge. So I used a floor jack and some 2x6's to assist. Opened the door fully with strap off and used the one 2x6 on the bottom of the door and one standing straight up on the jack gave it a few pumps and it finally freed up.
Mine are full steel and I don't think they had ever been off from the previous owner, so roughly nine years.

It helps to swing and lift the first time but looks like you got it.
