Trying to track down a noise (video included)

I've got a noise I've been trying to figure out, I took the Jeep to a mechanic and he told me he thought it may be a piston pin causing it. What's strange is that it's somewhat random and seems to go away once I drive for 10 to 15 minutes. It does not seem to matter if the engine is cold or warm. I've checked the flex plate bolts (I've had a cracked flex plate before and the sound it different from what I can remember), ran aerosol Seafoam through the intake and also switched to Rotella oil with no changes. In the video you can see how the noise it louder under the motor and it also the pitch of the sound changes and goes away. Any ideas?

Definatly sounds like lower end engine noise... I personally would have that professionally looked at soon. Anyone have ideas?

I did and he told be to just keep driving it until it gets worse.

Do you guys think its worth paying someone to go into the motor or just drive it until it takes a crap and replacing it with a reman motor? The engine and Jeep only have 56,000 miles btw.

You could always take it to the dealer for an oil change and ask what they think it is

Googled wrist pin noise and found this page, from the explanations it almost sounds most like piston slap?

After more research I'm almost convinced I'm dealing with another cracked flexplate. I'm going to drop by a local transmission shop and see what they say.

Could be that, or loose flex plate-torque converter bolts. I've seen it more than once.
