One thing I have learned about fenders....figure out what your end tire size in mind is. If it's 35" or larger, going with a highline version (doesn't matter which brand) only makes sense. If you don't, you'll have to bumpstop to prevent the tire from going into the fender. The other downside is, is that more bumpstop equals less uptravel.
I love my CCFABS tube fenders but really wish they would make a highline version.
Here's the CCFABS I mentioned. As you can see, a 35" tire with a 1.25" BL can still get into it. The rear fenders are as strong as the front too. You'll need to remove a little sheet metal to fit 35's though (not a big deal and easy to do). When I got mine it was $500 for fronts and rears.
