Tummy Tuck Question

Could I use a 1/2 BL to do a tummy tuck or do I need at least an inch?

Height of body lift depends on the brand

Most that are worth it require a 1" bl

When I do mine I'll be going with the ucf skid and gas tank skid

I think UCF claims there's will work with no body lift with a LoPro TC mount.

The brand Im looking at is Rokmen 1/2 BL. I found out that I can use it but do I still need a 1 inch MML to go along with it?

You don't need either to "tummy tuck" but if you are going with a specific manufacturers skid then go by their recommendations.

just helped a friend a few months ago with the rokmen tummy tuck. We used the 1/2 inch bl, no mml needed, however we did have to do a fan shroud relocation by about 1/2 inch to make up for the change.

Get under your Jeep and look at how much room there is between the t-case and the tub, along with the transmission and transmission tunnel/firewall.

A 1/2" body lift will give you 1/2" more room. A 1" body lift will give you 1" more room.

How much clearance do you want to gain under the skid? How much room can you create between the skid and the transmission mount bracket?

Simple as that. No more, no less. There is no exact answer.

Best off doing a 1" BL IMO. You will not notice any significant difference between 1" and .5" BL. Heck you won't notice much of a difference doing a 1" BL over stock. When you do a kit like the Daystar BL, you will also have the benefit of replacing all your most likely worn body mount pucks. No reason not to do it.

For doing a Tummy tuck I think best route is 1" BL, 1" MML(and 1" steering riser bracket), and Novak shifter cable. You spend a few more bucks but the results are well worth it.
