Turn Signal Grounding issue?

Well, I had an alarm installed on my jeep and now things are sort of screwy. I'm still trying to get ahold of the guy who installed the alarm system, but no luck... so hopefully someone here can help me out.

All my turn signals work fine when I first start up the vehicle, except for my driver's side rear light. It is very dim, especially when i'm using my break + left turn signal. However, as I drive the turn signal rate sometimes speeds up 2x as fast. When it speeds up like this, it actually effects both my left and rear turn signals. Additionally, sometimes both turn signals / brake lights cut out completely.

All my fuses are intact, and since the turn signal problems are sporadic, I doubt it's my brake or turn signal relays.

All clue's lead to some type of grounding issue but finding it has been a problem. Every ground I've come across is clean and tight.

Does anyone know where the tail light grounds are located? Do they return from the tail light back up to the front cab and ground somewhere up there?

Help is much appreciated

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they ground inside the light housing. I would try to swap the 2 lightbulbs that are in the tail light. If the alarm guy took them out and put them back in the wrong sockets, it screws up everything because those bulbs are not the same.

Hey I have just starting having the same issue as you. Is there any other solutions you have came up with? I have a 2006 TJ. The light sockets (reverse light and brake light) they are two different pieces. Every time they get funky I change the light bulb and usually solves the problem, but this last time it didn't. Every time I push the brake down the interior lights come on and the left turn signal stays lit.

As far as I understand, the screws that hold the tail light housing to the body tub are the grounds for the lights. I was having problems last month, and I backed out all the screws, cleaned them, hit them with dielectric grease and put them back in. Haven't had a problem since. Perhaps that might help?
