Turn Signal Issue

If anyone has had this problem maybe you can help. I have a 2000 Wrangler and when go to use the Turn Signal Lever I can't get the light to blink by just holding the lever. I have to completely engage it to blink. It only happens when I want to use it to go Right. Going left I don't have a problem holding the lever. Could it be that the contact is corroded in the stalk?? I know it's not a big problem, but would like to fix it. Let me know what ya guys think. Thanks.

I have the exact same problem. Worked fine 8 months ago when I bought the Jeep.. Haven't had the chance to take anything apart and look yet. I'd imagine we'll have to get a new switch assembly...

Try cycling the turn signal lever fully up and down like 100 times. If the internal switch contacts are only dirty or slightly corroded, this may help "wipe" the contact surfaces clean enough to get it working again.
