2004 unlimited. Recently the turn signals and hazards will not work. There are times when they work normal and times they do not work at all. Seems like if the jeep has not been driven and is cold they do not work and sometimes after a few errands they work fine. I took it to the dealer and of course that morning they worked. They checked wires in the column and replaced the multifunction switch on Thursday. Friday everything worked fine then this morning they did not work but after a few errands they were fine. I parked it at home at 3 pm and now they don't work again. Any ideas? Could the flasher under the hood be going bad?

I'd check the fuses under the hood for any corrosion or bent contacts that accept the fuse paddles. Clean, bend back if needed, apply di-electric grease and re-connect.

Do you have Non-Stock headlights?

If you've converted to other headlights they can attempt to draw more power, and damage the headlight/turn signal switch. This could be your issue.

When i had my non-LED Deltas installed my Highbeam light indicator would come on all the time even when it wasnt actually on.

I actually just got a new flasher in the mail today. Once I watch how to take the cover of the column off in YouTube I plan to change it. The turn signals worked for three days and this morning then tonight they stopped again. Let's hope the new flasher does the trick. Is the steering column cover easy to remove ? It looks like just two screws?

Could be the relay on the switch. When you replace the switch, they don't come with a new relay.

I had the same issue under the same conditions. Replaced the switch, still didn't work. Replaced the relay and now they're fine again.
