turn signal issues

its a 99 jeep tj was parked for a year think it got wet a bitcause had to do a few repairs with electrical issues also my signal are acting messed up I replaced my ignition switch and now the signals work sort of when i turn on my hazard ligths they work but when i turn on my left turn signal nothing but my right is fine so confused

Replace the actual turn signal switch. Or is that what you meant when you said ignition switch?

Here is a write up just in case: - the "other web sight" is down!

If you do need to replace the Multi-Function Switch you do NOT need to pull your steering wheel.

First thing to do with turn signal issues is check the wiring in the rear. If there has ever been trailer lights or connection, you may have a grounding issue. I have repaired many a turn signal problem by cutting the old worn out trailer connections and making sure there is no grounding or cross wiring.
