Turn signals

Hey guys, quick question for anyone good with electrical: I have the LED replacements for the front and side turn signals. The LED's dont draw enough so the jeep blinks the signals super fast and wont't turn the parking lights on (it thinks one of the bulbs are out im guessing due to the low draw). anyone know what type/how many resistors i need to put in and how? Also, i heard a fix would be to get a "heavy duty" relay replacement and that would solve my problem. any thoughts???

Check eBay, there's a guy who always has auctions with relays that are made to work with LEDs. I'm about to buy some flushmount turnsignals from him. I'll see if I can get you a link.

I think this Flasher would solve your problem. I have the ORO LED Tail Lights, and they do the same thing. Once I installed this Flasher it took care of the high speed Flashing. This particular Flasher is rated for 2-6 LED's, so it should work. However, this Flasher returns it to stock speed, but there is a 1-1.5 second delay from the time you hit your signal to the time of it actually flashing. This to me was more annoying than the quick flash. I took mine out and now let the signals go like a bat out of hell.

You should be able to find one at a local Auto parts store if you live in a decent sized area. Out of 3 Autozones, 3 Checkers, and 2 Napas, I finally found mine at a Napa for about $17. It was the only one in the area. But they ARE out there, and can be ordered if needed. Just make some phone calls.

As far as resistors, ask Tripp about that one.
Hope this helps.

Tripp's gone? What do you mean by that?

From what I remember, there is a difference in the Flashers. The link you posted is for the 2001-2006 Flashers. I think this guy has a 99, and would need the EP-26, like what I had in my 98.
