Upgrading suspension need some help.

I have a two inch suspension lift on my tj, but wanted to add 2 inch coil spacers to the equation. I already have shocks but what else do I need? (track bar, sway bar links, etc) thanx!

Adjustable track bars front and back, and sway bar end links and you may be good. Might need longer brake lines. Adjustable control arms wouldn't hurt. You may or may not get driveline vibes. If so: Motor mount lift, TC drop brackets, or SYE. With a MML or TC drop you might have to adjust your TC shift lever rod underneath or get a drop bracket for it like what comes in body lift kits.

Don't buy a drop pitman arm.

Thanx for the help, what size lift do you have on your jeep if you don't mind me asking?

why?

a 4" lift is 4" of lift, you'll still need an SYE, brake upgrades, steering upgrades, adjustable control arms, longer shocks, at least 2" bumpstop extensions front and rear, longer sway bar links front and rear, adjustable track bars front and rear, rear CV angled track bar bracket if you get a SYE and longer brake lines.

the only difference is your springs will come unseated earlier and you'll end up reducing uptravel...so for the extra $200, just buy 4" lift springs...you'll already be putting close to $3000 into it with tires and such if you buy all the parts necessary.

just buy a kit that includes everything necessary...like RCD or Currie.

It's a mixed bag 4" suspension lift: ProComp springs, Rough Country X-Flex control arms (all 8), Skyjacker Hydro shocks, Iron Rock over the knucke kit, quick discos, and adjustable track bars. It was all originally ProCrap when I bought the Jeep...with stock upper control arms, stock steering, and stock front track bar. =(

On top of that I have a Prothane 1" body lift.

So are new control arms and a sye necessary or just nice to have? I know a transfer case drop is just a temporary thing, but I'm 18 and still in highschool so im a little strapped for cash.... a t-case drop wont hurt anything right? just lower my clearance. and I already have rims and 33's btw.
