urgent help on removing sound bar

I'm trying to put a half top on my 1998 jeep and I have to get my sound bar off and I can't get it to bust loose it's just factory n I don't thin it's ever been removed. It says to use a torx wrench -# 30 which I'm going to have to go buy now but we had something similar and it's not moving what should I do?

Are the screws not turning, or is the bar not budging?

If you need a #30 torx thats all that will work "something similar" won't work. Get the right tool for the job.

The soundbar that was on my '97 was held on by two phillips head screws per side, screwed into the side rollbar.

I guess my dad had this box set of something and it fit but he said we need the right tool ( which went along with me saying hey let's read the directions and discuss and him saying no waste of time...) so if I go buy this tool. Will it still bust? It's the bolts that will not budge. like I know that we used a torx on my bumper and it ended up breaking so I'm just hoping by getting this part ( the torx) it will budge loose. Its like a bolt and i think a washer maybe behind it No write ups yet on relocating the sound bar? i'm realy scared to flip it to the other side and to have to drill into that roll bar

- yea Jerry that would be alot faster if I was that lucky mine is black bolts ( star?) and then I think a washer behind them it still had all the factory skinny foam wrapped around the bars near it. It's never been touched
