P.O. installed what I now know are "very old style" Rubicon Express control arms front & rear. Lowers are fixed length only, uppers are adjustable.
The slip joint has just barely enough room to remove the shaft before bottoming out. I'd say 1/2" or so.
I never had any driving issues before (other then the tire vibes I am working on) but when it was put on the alignment machine the caster was so far off we decided to take a look at it.
I'm thinking maybe I should just try to put it back to where it was as it drove, handled, and rode fine. Just bugs me knowing something is way off like that.
