Vibration and Noise?

On my way to work yesterday I felt a vibration or bounce from the back end of the jeep. It felt like a tire out of balance. On the way back home I realized that it only happened as I let off the gas and I also noticed a clanking noise, like metal hitting something. It was dark and I couldn't see anything so I waited til today to check under it. I don't see anything hanging or wrong. Looks like they might have been some fluid near the pinion seal but I'm not sure if that would cause the Jeep to do that or should I be looking in another area for the cause?

Found my problem. For some reason I decided to check the lug nuts and sure enough, 3 of 5 were loose are about ready to fall off. No idea why, but I retightened them and took a test drive, the vibration and noise both are gone now. Thanks for the help.
