Vibrations and Power Loss

I was having issues with Power Loss and a Clunking so I took it to a guy to check out and he replaced the Ignition Coil and Spark Plugs. He mentioned that the 'clunking' that I heard was the engine backfiring.

The noise has stopped but I'm still experiencing some power loss when going up hill mostly and am now experiencing bad vibrations from the engine every now and again.

I've taken it back 2 times since, but he says that theres nothing wrong with the engine.

Any thoughts on what could be causing the power loss / vibrations? Should I get the fuel filter replaced somewhere?

Thanks!

Are you getting the vibrations before shut off? If so, are you in the red on your fuel guage when this is happening?
