Water in my jeep!

Here's my problem, I was going to clean up my jeep after yesterdays rain, and i discovered some water soaked into my carpet on my passenger floor pan, and under it as well.
I don't no where it is coming from?

There are no leaks in the soft top, nothing getting through the soft door...

The funny thing is, is that it is only wet in a curtain spot, no water on the dash, door, or seat, just right in the middle of the passenger floor pan.
Could water becoming up through the bottom?
Any suggestions!

Are your floor plugs in? Look under your carpet.

99% of us that get water there get it from the cowl drain. Never could find it but it must have unclogged because the leak stopped. Had the problem since 2004 but it stopped in 2009.

On my '03 the cowl drain is just below the inboard edge of the battery tray and towards the engine.

good idea, i guess i am going to try that plan... i am sick and tired of having to dry it out quickly because i am afraid it will create rust.

if your worried about rust pull up the carpet and put down a bedliner, you can always put the carpet back down over it.
