Water in the "HEEP"

I walked out to my heep today because I have not been outside really in a week can't drive until maybe tm possibly. I noticed about 2 inches of water on the passenger side floor.

Thing here- the seat is damp driver side only - passenger side is dry floor seat. The rear is dry too. Driver side door dash steering wheel all dry- no tears in the top, no tears in the half windows.I am stumped!! Maybe time to grind,re primer the floor and put down some good paint and pull the carpet and seats. For seats put in some muddin seats that can get wet and just be wiped off with a towel. Help anybody?

i had a water leek in my jeep that ended up being an issue with the windshield seal.

could be windshield seal. but if it hasn't leaked before i wouldn't be too worried. that was record amounts of rain we got in the last two days.

But what is weird to me is I moved it in the garage so I could take the carpet outta it. The seat is not wet at all. Sat in it and it was dry. It is just the carpet on the driver side floor. Not even behind the seat. I remember the last rain we got the floor got wet too, thought nothing of it. interesting!

then its most likely coming in bottom corner of widshield and going behind dash then to the floor. is the upper part of the firewall damp anywhere, behind the dash, or in the corner by the door.

I already took them all out for safety measures because in august I did drive it home in the rain with everything off of it. The crazy looks I was getting rockin out driving no top and doors in the rain

So maybe mountain dew nite one of these nights and I can bring it up to you and try figuring it out?

Perhaps the drain hose (under the battery) of the of the heater is plugged.
In my old TJ the passenger side carpet was wet after every heavy rain.
