a trick a friend told me is put alot of sheets of paper in the car were it might be leaking and take a hose with a nozzle and blast the roof and see if any drops of water come in.

A lot of them, including mine, leak from under the front cowl. There is a drain under there somewhere and they get plugged or blocked somewhat and under heavy rain cannot handle the load.

I think you have to remove the cowl (the paned directly in front of the windshield) to access it to clean. I tried to see where it comes out in/under the firewall but so far NG.

Anyone have a picture of where it exits so I can try cleaning it from the exit that would be fab.

Seam leak

I have a '99 with half doors. My Bestop is only 1year old. It started leaking about a month after I installed it. I trace the leak to a seam right under the window - it attaches the Velcro on the interior. It only leaks when the Jeep is stationary during a storm. I've been told some tent seam sealer will fix this (Walmart's got it). The seam makes a little ridge that holds standing water.
