Question water temp?

Im new to the jeep world and so far i love it. I was wanting to know where my water temp should run on my 97 wrangler 4.0 5spd. It stays 210 or just below. Thanks

I have had 3 and they all ran between 210 and 215.. You are good to go!

I even begged my Dealer to put in a lower temp thermostat and he said that they are supposed to run in the 210-215 degree range.. He said it isn't abnormal to see them run at 220 degrees.

They are hot-blooded sir!

Yes 210 or close to that is correct. That may seem warmer than what you may be used to but the engine is designed to run at that temperature to help it pass all 50 states emissions requirements.

Bite your tongue...We have no stinkin' emmission requirements here .... not statewide yet anyway.

If they did, everyone would freeze to death if they had to turn in their coal and wood stoves.
