I just bought a 2003 wrangler x and this is my first wrangler. When I'm drive off the curb on the drive way the front end makes a clunk sound. Or if I'm driving fast and turn the wheel it will make that sound almost like something is moving. Does anyone have any suggestion on what I should do to it or what it might be. It only has 75,000 miles on it.
Have you looked under the jeep to see if anything looks disconnected? We can take a guess at a lot of things but you need to tell us what you see because we cannot see under your jeep. Take pictures also.
Do u have quick disconnects? Mine click at times. Really annoying. Only way to tell is to get under n grab diff things and shake n/ or push down on the front bumper hard. I stop the quick disconnect noise by greasing the pins a bit.
Does it have a lift? I had a zj that was lifted and there was a bracket (I forget now) but it was loose and ot made a really loud clunk when I turned. Get a buffy under there and just turn the steering wheel left to right full turns and see if anything moves.
