Weird sound once over 20mph

Ok, I have been getting a weird sound coming from under the Jeep when I get to about 20 mpg Almost a squeaking sound that speeds up with my speed. After testing a little bit I found out that it doesn't do it when I am in 4WH and only when I am giving it gas. Which leads me to believe that it is my front driveshaft. What should I be looking for when I get under the front? Thanks guys.

Could be the CV joint on the front shaft. You can try to disconnect it at the front axle and tie it up, go for a short drive and see what happens. Just DO NOT engage 4wd with it tied up like that.. Or you can just take it completely off, not that much more work... Four 8mm (i think) bolts at each end are all that holds it.

Hmm. not sure when I can try that. I am using 4wd alot right now due to the heavy snow we got over the weekend but I will try as soon as I can.
