What bolts for bell housing?

I have a 97 4.0 5 speed. Does anybody know the bolt sizes that go around the bell housing? And where I could get some.

Which ones in particular?

Into the block-

There are 2 at the top across from each other that are one size.
There are 2 about in the middle at the lower edge of the block that are another size and much larger than the top 2.

On the bellhousing itself, there are 4 (IIRC) that hold the upper part of the dust shield to the bellhousing.

Then there are 2 very much larger at the bottom that hold the lower edge of the dust shield to the bell housing.

All of them. I pulled the tranny to fix the clutch and every one of those bolts were different. Some were stripped and three from the top were stretched out. Just want to put back everything like its supposed to be.

Frosty I just went through the same thing every other damn bolt is a different size. I only replaced the top 2 to get away from the torx head. I just took them to fastenall and matched them up.

Yea. Every one of em. Two of em had sleeves in them so the bolt didnt shake around. Three of em had two nuts on the other side. Every bolt but one was either stretched or stripped. Fml...

No, the sleeves are to align the bellhousing to the block and are generally referred to as dowel pins even though they are hollow sleeves.

The bottom two have nuts for the inspection cover.

Didn't know that about the sleeves. But they were broken and busted up anyway. And almost all of em had nuts on the other side. One on the top and one on the side had two nuts on em. Whoever took it apart last time did a halfass job.
