What do vibes feel like?

Just took off my transfer case drop after putting in some brown dog motor mounts and was just wondering if some people could describe what vibes feel like. It's pretty funny, I've heard so much about them and read so much about them but I've never actually felt any.
I got it up to about 55 and didn't seem to feel anything out of the ordinary. Tomorrow I'll take it out on the highway and get it up to 75 and try to feel anything out of the ordinary. But any descriptions would be helpful so that I'll know exactly what to feel for.

Before I did the rear upper control arms and got the pinion angle in check, around 45 mph you'd start to feel vibrations in the seat of your pants. If everything is smooth you'll know all is well.

So do you just feel it under the seat?
What about through the accelerator?
The new motor mounts I installed slightly increased vibes from the engine so I've got to try and distinguish the difference.

There are several different vibrations you could be feeling. A full jeep rumble would be the new stiffer motor mounts.

A wobble on acceleration would be a poor pinion angle as well as a surging at 50 plus.

This also happens to me since I've turned 50 plus.

I am waiting to hear an answer on this. I installed a 2" bb and some new to me tires and can't tell if I'm getting any vibes.

Sometimes with my mud tires and Illinois roads you can't even tell you have the "vibes"

You think 50 is bad, just wait til 60...!!!

I've found that with the drive line vibes I've felt, that if you rest your arm on the center console it seems to really transmit them through your arm.

Well took it out on the highway and got it up to around 75 and couldn't feel anything out of the ordinary during the process. I kept my arm on the center console as suggested by waterdog and still couldn't feel anything. I think I'm in the all clear
