Question What in the world is this???

Hey guys,

I just removed the center console from my TJ for a deep cleaning on the carpet and found this "device" tucked underneath the center console away from anyone's view. I realized it flickers when I turn my TJ on and then turns off once the car idles. Not sure what it is intended to indicate or why it is hidden underneath the center console.
My 4x4 low and high are perfect, car idles perfect, no knocking, wipers work perfect, lights, basically it is not tied to anything I can think of.
Thank you for any guidance on this matter.

That's what she said!!! Just re-attach it when you put your console back in.

If your console doesnt have the passenger airbag portion it may be that someone swapped a different console in. If not it will bolt right back up.

Haha that was good from g-love and you are absolutely right. I neglected to mention that I have an aftermarket center console and I don't have an airbag mounting option. At least I don't think so. Airbag indicator duh! I will post pics of the center console because there is an opening that I now covered and that may be where the switch is intended to be mounted. Thanks fellas.
