what is it?

you can hear it when I turn it off, but it's also there when in gear, but not in neutral.

Sounds like the exhaust rattling, also check your engine/tranny mounts, how many miles ?

Loose exhaust maybe? Have someone reproduce the noise while you're underneath watching/listening. Can you tell about where it's coming from?

Thanks, the exhaust seems secure, I'll check the mounts. It has over 150k miles. Plus a saltwater environment here and past winters in WV where I'm originally from haven't been super kind to it.
Oh and the battery is going to be replaced, other issues keep arising.
