what is normal?!?!?!?!?!?!?

i was just wondering how well the heat works in any other tj, my heat barelyy even blows out. the only was to feel the heat is to pt your hand directly on the vent... any help would be appreciated

my heat cranks, in fact if i leave it on high it is warm enough to get uncomfortable and i live in ct, it was 9 degrees going to work this morning.

could be any number of things i can think of, heater core, blower is bad, bad controls even, i am new to the jeep thing, so i dont know em that well yet. your best bet is to get a haynes manual and start there, i need one myself...

Hmm

When you select different fan speeds does the it respond or just stay the same. If it stays the same could be a bad resistor.

Does the temp. on your gauge read what it should?

to put it simply the heat is there its just not blowing out, basicly what i think is happening is the blower motor isnt doing its job because the heat comes out it just isnt being pushed out enough, because you can feel the warm air but only when your hand is on the vent

I have replaced water pumps to fix this problem and it was the thermostat ?
Sometime I replacethe thermostat and it was the water pump

Damper door (I think that is what it is called) maybe my damper door always closes. Makes a lot of noise but no air comes out.
