What is the verdict on Purchasing a programmer

I have added a few mods to my Sahara. K&N Cold air intake, Throttle body spacer, removed cat and installed MBRP exhaust system along with new plugs and wires. I was just wondering if it was really worth the money to purchase a programmer. Please let me know about your findings and or opinion's.

Thanks

Nick

Sorry friend, so far the only bang you're getting for your buck are the new plugs and ignition wires.. You removed the cat? Hopefully you are posting this up a bit late for April Fools..

Nick, not trying to be a smartazz, but you're putting lipstick on a pig. Short of a turbo charger, most anything you do to a Jeep motor is not going to be much of a return in HP nor MPG. Your money will be much better spent on things that will get you back home. IE, winch, tires, lift, etc.

Your jeep is not a race car and you already have more than enough power when you put it into four low. A programmer will not do anything for u. I too removed my cat back in the day but from experience, can tell u it did nothing but make me run rich.
If u want a race car or fast 4x4 get a diesel truck, otherwise you are wasting your time and money

Talking

aaaaaaaahhhhhhh.... another daily CAI-bashing/anti-performance thread, you guys are funny here. Predictable.... but dang funny. The mere mention of CAI will bring it on like a pack of Wolves on a bleeding Elk.
I'll stay 'tuned' for this one.

absolutely not

FWIW, for what you've spent on bolting on useless pseudo-performance parts, you could have been well on your way to regearing and noticing a major performance improvement.

That astute advice is offered on every Jeep-oriented forum I have ever participated in, not just WF.
