Oh and the funny looking thing next to it is the EVAP canister purge solenoid.
An on/off valve that lets the fumes from the charcoal canister be returned to the intake to be burned off. PCM regulates it's actions dependent on cold/hot starts and closed/ open loop running conditions.
Just another thing that can go bad and make your Jeep run funny. They do not fail often, actually rarely, but when they do you could pull your hair out trying to figure out what is wrong, without the proper diagnosis tools.
