What should i do?

I have a little bit of spending $$ from selling my clear widows on the bay. I can either spend it on a pair of black windshield bracket's with a pair of black lights, or get a "Rocky Road Outfitters" 2" budget lift. My jeep already has a 2" body lift. But i have that bug to go a bit higher. Remind you now this is my dailey driver and a mall queen. There ain't no big hills down here in south florida. LOL What would you do? Seriously. I also want to put a different better sounding muffler on it too. But can't find one with a flange that i need for a low price. I don't feel like dropping that bottom skid plate just to get to the pipe to cut the flange off. It'll be easier just to un-bolt it.

i wouldn't go any higher until you get bigger tires. thats just my opinion though. I would rather spend the money on the lights or the muffler.

Lights and brackets

And they say white lettering looks bad. NOT on a white jeep!

+1 i dont like anything over a 1" body lift, it makes too many gaps and annoys me.

I would put the money into the exhaust, but I'd ditch the BL and go w/ the BB. BL don't do much more than make big "see through" spots at the stop light for the Mazda Miata. Putting a 2" BB under the already present 2" BL and not spending money some wider shoes, could be ugly in a sharp turn situation. God knows Florida has plenty of traffic situations!!!

But that is my 2cents

BB, cut the BL to 1 1/4 inch, 33s. If any $ is left over, add an Xmas tree air freshener

you dont need muffler with flange... thats the cat back system.. in you want a new muffler just cut the old muffler out and put new muffler in either by welding it in or clamps.. its a 30 min job

I don't know what year jeep you have, but on my 2000 sahara it would be more then a half hour job. The pipe leading to the flange is above the skid plate. I can't get to the pipe to cut it unless i drop the plate. That'a why i say it would be easier to unbolt the flange. I can get a rachet in there.

it takes like 5 min to take the skid plate off. i think its 8 bolts on the bottom and 2?? for the transfer case mount. put a jack or jack stand under the trans then lower the plate. cake.

That's the part i don't like-"jack under the trans" Will the transfer case come all the way down with the plate if i don't use the jack? Or are ya talking about the transmission?
