Tore down my ax-15 after losing 3 and 4, found that I broke the spring and 2 of the 3 syncro keys for 3/4.
Anyways, got parts on order. The only "oops" of the tear down was that the bearing seal on the input shaft bearing practically collapsed when I was pulling things apart. The seal is not usable but the bearing is fine. Should I just completely replace the bearing? They are $60, which sucks since the bearing is fine and just the seal is jacked.
In addition, can I use the same gasket sealer throughout the transmission?
