What you think of this? Help!!

This is on my 1999 wrangler it's not the frame more like the body, I think it's where to body connects to the frame. Not sure if I should have it welded or what to think of it...please help...some spots of the frame are clean and solid then I found this...HELPPPPPP

I have a similar condition on mine, almost as bad. I had found someplace that sells replacement pieces for this, but now I can't find it. Can't recall the name of the piece either. I'm looking...

If I recall, it's a box type support between the frame and the floor pan of the tub. I'll look in a bit, homework time with the kids right now. Maybe someone more knowledgeable will contribute in the mean time.

Not sure who else has them but you can get the patch panels to be welded in from Quadratec. I'm sure others have them too!

Based on that price though, I may just consider patching mine as they're not that bad.

If installed correctly, they can be as strong/stronger than factory. I have the mid-section frame caps on both sides on my tj. I wouldn't question their integrity one bit.

Regarding being safe to drive; do both of the torque boxes look the same? If the body mounts are being swallowed, I would probably not want to put it through the twisting actions off road. I have seen worse for daily drivers, but those usually have other holes!
