Whats next?

Quick question for you all... I have a 97 sport with a auto trans and beefed up 4.0 and running Trxus M/Ts 34x12.5x15s (love these tires) So can I go to my local tranny shop and get this tranny recalabrated so that it shifts right? It shifts a bit early. Oh and whats it take to get my spedo reading right?

speedo reading is the speedo gear. And to truly get it shifting right you need to gear it. I would suggest 4.88's min really it should be 5.13's with the auto.

with 34" tires I'd go with 4:11 gears because you have no overdrive . As for shifting early, my 97 did the same, I adjusted the downshift(kickdown) cable about 1/8 inch (tighter) and that helped alot. It is much more driveable and I no longer have to keep it in 2nd on the backroads.
