The best chip is no chip. They don't help at all in normal street driving or offroading. By law, they can only do anything after the engine is at near redline rpms & at wide-open throttle, not exactly how few choose to drive a Jeep.

I have a few of those installed semi-permanently under my driver's seat. I started out with them installed professionally in the center console, but after just one long drive, I found they naturally seemed to fit better under the seat.
