I cant figure out whats wrong with my soft top. Its extremly deficilt to close it. I have to have someone push the back while I pull the front and try to latch it any ideas.

Not enough info.

Make sure it is warm when you try to do anything with a soft top. You need to tell us what model and what the specific problem is.

Take the top down and take off your frame..compare the two or find another jeep to compare them..probably bent or binding somewhere..

Its tuff to tell if the frame is bend, which is more than likely the problem. I bent mine on a sapling going through a narrow trail. If the top is not square with the windshield, then: if it is overlapping on the driver side it in prolly bent on the opposite (passenger) side and vice versa. Open and close the top and see if/where its rubbing on the roll cage. That is good way to tell where the prob. is. Def. try to do it in the sun.

Put the latches on front FIRST, but do NOT close them all the way. Go to back, press down on rear frame bar, seat the rear corners, then install side windows, latch the sides down over the doors, then close the latches.

Are you removing the rear windows first?
