Wheel Fitment

Hey guys, I was wondering if a 15X8 5-114.3 would fit on my 97 wrangler Factory specs Say 15X8 5 4.5. The website claims they will fit.But just want to make sure before ordering?

Yes, 5x114.3 is the same as 5x4.5", they will fit. Just make sure they have a reasonable amount of backspacing which depending on what tire size you will be installing on them is anywhere from 3.75" to 4.5".

okay so this might be a stupid Question, but where in the world would I find the backspacing, This is all it says for fitment next to wheel Size..15X8 5-114.3-19MTB.Nowhere does it state what the backspacing. Would I have to call the manufacturer for specifics?

The below photo shows how the backspace measurement is made, the yellow tape measure is taking the actual backspace measurement which is made from the backside of the wheel. The backspace measurement is NOT the same as the offset measurement that is used for car & sports car wheels.

The manufacturer should give the backspace measurement if it's a Jeep or truck oriented wheel.

Yes you are going to have to call the Mfgr. and find out the backspace. Sounds like you are looking at car wheels rather than truck wheels so you may have to do some digging to find out what the BS is. It's quite likely that they will have too much bs to work for your application.

If that's a -19 that means negative 19mm offset which is 3.75" backspacing,Those would work well on your Jeep.
