Wheeling stock tie rods no good.

Here is the reason you don't wheel stock tie rods. I am a moron it is in the dictionary-- look up my name it says next to it moron lol. This is my 3RD tie rod in 3 months in this jeep! Here is the pic of when you front tires are locked and you get grip. LOL

Yes that tie rod is pushing the fan shroud up about 2 inches. I have another stock in there but a currie system is going to be ordered this week.

Cool thing to note after putting in the new tie rod bar the steering stabilizer broke also but nobody had one. Drove it 130 miles with out the steering stabilizer there and drove just like stock no DW or anything I was impressed.

If you haven't gotten more out of the insurance company than you deserve, then you haven't screwed them nearly as much as they have been screwing you for the past xx years.

haha yea no moron and cheapness come to mind lol. I am not going to be wheeling for ohh 2 months so I have some time to replace a lot of the little issues that are coming up with the jeep being 13 years old.

Heck man, the most extreme thing I've done is driven through2 ft of muddy water, and then driving down some alleys......I honestly thought there was more offroading opportunities around here when I bought the Jeep...

And I got the HD tierod off Scout for too good of a price to turn down.

Did the same damn thing to mine this past weekend...not as bad. I was able to pull it out and use too huge rocks to pry it back straight enough to drive home 4 hours, lol.

Currie system in the way within the next few weeks.

Yea the other great thing about that is I didn't even bang it on a rock. Both tires gripped at the same time and both went shooting inward lol.
