When to replace steering stabilizer

2002 TJ, I got a rancho Steering stabilizer back in 2007. Just wondering how often they should be replaced. It doesnt seem to have any problems right now, but id rather change it out if its ganna die soon

Out of curiosity the first of this year I checked my 10+ year old Black Diamond (when Warn still owned Black Diamond) steering stabilizer just before my '97 TJ was stolen. It was still in excellent condition. So long as the stabilizer isn't leaking hydraulic fluid and it resists being moved in/out equally in both directions, it is ok.

If it aint broke don't fix it. when it dies you'll know. there is no way to predict its demise, unless you plan on causing its demise.

Probably not, the steering stabilizer is one of those things that doesn't normally do much. With a front-end that doesn't have major problems, you could entirely remove the steering stabilizer and not feel any difference.

Dontcha hate it when the Edit Timer runs out and you can't go back into a post to correct some glaring typo?

I don't get overly concerned with it. as long as the point is still somewhat clear. I reply between seeing patients...
