Hey jeepers,

My D35 is on its last breath with a bearing going down and filled it full of metal. I'm not wasting a dime on the D35.

So that being said and reading the sticky I am going 8.8 I already have a axle out of a 97 xploder with matching gears and a master rebuild kit on the way. I'm trying to stay on budget but I want to do it right. I can weld so that is no big deal. Please send me some up to date links and advise

Thank you merry Christmas

I seen the m.o.r.e set up but it was as much as the Aztec. What about for the e brake set ups

I thought you had to buy a new brake set up. I seen east coast has the entire kit for 200

You can use stock e brake cables from a TJ that had disk brakes, pretty cheap on Rock Auto. A lot of the swap kits/parts are very overpriced for what they are and use parts readily available at parts stores for much cheaper.

The only thing I bought from ECGS was the ABS freeze plug and flange adapter. Brackets were Artec, everything else came from Rock Auto/Napa.

I'm not planning on an sye we won't be going any higher than a 3 in lift. So I won't need one of those and as of the moment we are not planning to go regear just find another 3.73. We are trying to do it on a budget and keep it under 500 minus the axle and the master rebuild kit
