Which Durango steering gearbox and why?

I'm reading a few mixed threads but none specific on exactly which year
From my understanding a 98-99 Durango 4x4 v8 will be a direct bolt on
Can I still use my jeep pitman arm and steering universal?
Everyone says the snowplow one has the same ratio as wrangler and non snowplow has less of a reduction
My jeep is a 98 sport i6 5speed 3:09 gears turning 29's but will soon be 31's,I will run 31's from now on
The nonsnowplow is $170 snowplow is $140

Also I just installed a 2" budget boost and alignment(myself)and nO more death wobble
