Which transmission?

Hey all quick question. Do any of you know what automatic transmission was used in 4 cylinder wranglers(TJs specifically)? Is it the same transmission as the one used with the 4.0? Any help would be really appreciated.

No, it is not the same. The 4.0 TJ's came with a 32RH 3 speed originally and the 4 cyl's with a 30RH auto.

The 32RH seems more reliable, is it possible to swap out a 30RH for a 32RH without too much work? Im just trying to figure out all the possible solutions I have in finding a replacement transmission for a 98 TJ with a 2.5L auto
