Why do i have a T-case drop?

Previous owner had a T-case drop kit installed and at the time i didn't ask him why. My TJ has a 2.5 inch rough country suspension lift on it. do i need the T-case drop?
Also I'm thinking about the JKS 1.25 BL and 1" MML. Would doing the motor mount lift let me take the T-case drop kit off so it doesn't hang so low and look wicked ugly?
Thanks in advance

Prior to my lift, I did allot of research here and other areas. It seemed that all Jeeps are different concerning this. My suspension lift raised me approx. 2.75" and I did not need the T- case drop. I've experienced no issues in the last 10 months.

Maybe the prior owner had issues or just assumed he/she would, and did the drop when doing the lift?

I'm sure those with more experience will post soon.

I would take it off and try it. You may not experience any vibes. If you do a mml should take care of it no problem.

Idk how much of a drop it is but I dropped mine a little bit after repairing my frame and I only have a bb. Reason being cause it was all corroded between the skidplate and frame. Leaving a little space inbetween like a couple washers will let it air out and prevent problems like I had there. Just my 2 cents

Take it out and see of theres vibes. If not then your good and a mml will still be fine. If so, wait til the mml goes on and see if it rids of them. If it doesnt then add washers inbetween until they are gone. With a 3 inch suspension lift and 1.25 body lift my jeep only needed 4 washers to rid of vibes
