Whys my gas pedal sticking?

It only does this at slow speeds. Or slowing down in order to take a turn I brake and push the clutch in to shift to a lower gear, when I go to accelerate again the gas pedal is stif and I have to push hard to get it down and then of course i'm bucking and bouncing everywhere looking like an idiot who doesnt know how to drive. not to mention the fuel it's eating having to throttle the hell out her all the time.

Any insight, thanks?

Your gas pedal is controlled by a cable that connects to the throttle body...trace that cable back and make sure it hasn't been re-routed in a way that's causing it to hang up. If the path looks clear, you may need to replace the cable. Also manually open up the throttle body and make sure it's opening and closing properly...if it's not, you'll need to pull the intake tube off and figure out what's hanging up.

Would it only hang up on something when it's going slow speeds or acting up and needing a new cable at those speeds? Never messed around with an accelerater yet so I have no idea. thanks for the help tho
