Will the 99XJ cv style axles work in a 04 TJ

Have a friend wanting to run the cv style axles because he hear they are stronger than the u joint style the question is will they work both front axles are Dana 30s but the tj doesn't have abs and the xjs do, I think I can knock off the abs ring...

Any input would be nice thx in advance....

the #1 problem is a 99 XJ doesn't have CV axles. not to mention all the stock Jeep CV axles are weaker than u-joints axles, in fact the ZJ & WJ crowds convert to u-joint shafts. If you're talking about a WJ, then no, that isn't a D30. it's a Super30.
