will wrong kind of grease cause a ujoint to fail?

I have two questions. 1- Will using the wrong kind of grease cause a u joint to fail or become worse if it is already failing and 2- What is the best grease to use in a u joint. Thanks for any Input

Any grease is better than no grease. I use a black molybdenum grease. Works great.
