window hinge how to?

OK, my fault. I noticed the rear window hinges on my 2005 were cracking and didnt replace them. I got home tonight, lifted the window and both hinges snapped. I can't drive to town to get new hinges with the window flapping around so i took the whole damn thing off.
Now.... anyone have a handy reference guide on how to put it back together, sequence of events sort of thing. i know where the parts go, etc, but whats the best way to put it all back on without braking stuff and having to put stuff on and then take it off because something else was supposed to go on first.
Man I feel dumb.
Oh, and broke... $300 for new hinges, available only at the dealer and I dont have time to fool around looking for used ones.

HUH ?? I bought mine Stainless Steel replacement ones from Quadratec for under 200 shipped to Edmonton.

When I replaced mine, I smashed my rear window because I tightened the bolts too tight. Nothing to do or an order. DEFINETLY get a second hand, bolt the hinges to the hard top loosely. Then attach the struts to the mounts, with help lift the window up and loosely mount to the hinges.

Lower and check for gaps, how it sits. Use some chalk and mark where you need to adjust. Then open and tighten .. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

Re-attach the de-foger power cable if installed.

Good Luck
