Windsheild

Anyone ever replace a windshield on there TJ? Mine is cracked beyond repair. I was hoping to find one at a junkyard and DIY it.

Getting a windshield out of a wreck is tricky without cracking it. You should be able to get new one installed for 125 or less. Shop around.

As said don't waste your time on a used piece it will most likely be pitted and after you factor in your time and the cost of the glass it isn't worth it.
I paid $140.00 last December.

I saw a video on YouTube were a guy covered his windshield in (strong) tape and then took it out so glass wouldn't go everywhere. It's worth a try.
