I've never seen the 13" frameless, which I could find them as well. They seem to work very well on other vehicles.

I just bought a pair of winter blades, carquests, and I'm really happy with them, they were spendy, but I stopped alot the last 2 days cleaning the ice build-up off the old ancos so it's worth it.By the way,it was the last two they had, they don't have much call for 13 in wiper blades!

Here is the trick to keep ice from building up on your wiper blades. Do not, and I mean do not, use your windshield defroster when driving in the snow. Dress extra warm and use minimal heat. You want the windshield to be as cold as possible so the snow does not melt and form into ice. Believe me I have been driving in the NE for over 40 years and use this trick all the time.

Yes I know it's nice to be warm and cozy but if you need to be then you are going to have to stop often to remove the ice build up.

And I but the cheapest blades and replace them twice a year.

I go to the dealer and get the Jeep wiper blades. They last the longest and don't cause streaks on the windshield.

Consumer reports did a long term test of many different brands of wiper blades.

What they found was that all the wipers tested did excellent for about 6 months to 1 year then all brands no matter how expensive started to deteriorate. They recommended using the cheapest set you can find & replace them every year.

I very happy with my Silblades and combined with wiper snuggies (no more blade chatter on the highway) I couldn't be more pleased. It rains a lot in Oregon so I use my blades often.

IMO the Silblades are well worth the price.
