Wiper Woes- they're back in time just for winter

So, My wipers stopped working AGAIN. And this time it's for good.

So far, i've replaced the wiper switch on the column, the fuse in the behind the glovebox fuse panel, the wiper motor, and linkage under the cowl. Still dead.

I pulled apart the dash, and started jiggling wires and checked connections. all connections were tight and nothing happened when i jiggled the wires meaning i don't have a loose connection. Something is either dead or completely disconnected.

does anyone have any sort of insight into the behind the dash wires of a '98 TJ? The wiper wires come off a wiring harness and then gets shrink wrapped (like most factory bundles). I'd really like to figure this out before we start getting big winter storms here in NY and i'd really like to avoid bringing it to a shop.

The circuit is pretty straight forward. There are no connectors between the switch & wiper motor. There is one splice point in the pink/black wire that comes off fuse 14. It splits & one leg goes to the switch & the other goes to the motor. I would check both connectors (switch & motor) to see if you have power there (key on). If one yes & not the other the splice is likely the bad spot. If neither has power likely the fuse is bad (I know it LOOKS good but swap it to be sure) or there could be a bad connection in the fuse socket (lose fit). If there is power in both places then you need to check the switch & the motor. The FSM has a very good troubleshooting section for both. Here is a link to a manual.

See online read only FSMs here:
Jeep Knowledge Base
You may have to go to the bottom of the page & pick Jeep Resources & online manuals if it directs you to home page rather than the knowledge base.

One more thing to check, is the fuse getting power with the key on? Also possibly related, are the turn signals & radio working?

Everything else works just fine. Fuse seems to be getting power when the key is on.

Checking relays right now, but i don't think any of them are bad...
