Wipers keep blowing fuse

ok well I got in my car and put my wipers on to get some of the snow off the windshield ( i know i should have moved the snow with a scrapper but i was late) and the wipers went up once and then back down and didnt move again, it blew the fuse so I replace the fuse and it just blows it again....where should I start now to look for the problem....any thoughts?

Thanks, Bill

If no one has been messing with the wires so none leading to the wiper switch or motor are likely shorting to something, I'd guess your wiper motor is going or is gone. When a motor starts blowing fuses, it normally has some shorted windings inside.
