Question Wire routing from battery to dash?

What is the best/easiest way to route wires for stereo and lights to the interior? Is there a grommet that is easily used? If you could, send some pics to help me out. Thanks again.
This is for a 2001 TJ.

I'll send you some pic's later If I remember. BUT...there are a few plugs in the fire-wall you can use.

Look right behind the motor. You can see a 2''x4''oval shaped plug and just under that is a 2'' round one. Middle of the fire-wall and about 14'' down from the cowling.

Yup, big grommet just a few inches away from the steering shaft, closer to center. Pick the highest one to minimize water intrusion. It's super easy after you contort yourself under the dash.

All you have to do is look for a hole in a Jeep. The Wrangler has more holes in the "Firewall"than any vehicle that I have ever seen. You have, I think 3 of those large 2"by3" ovals rubber plugs in the firewall along with 2 other smaller round plugs and that is just the ones not used then you have 5 other holes that are used by the factory for the wires and cables to go through.Have you ever seen what happens if you raise the hood of any car to find a fireball flash into your face???Well you jump back ,the hood slams shut and that forces flames into the interior of the car.Its just a quick flash over but enough to burn anyone in the front seats and then by the time you get them out of the car and back to it it is fully engulfed.

What type of stereo are you putting in? Just a head unit? Any reason you can't pull power from an existing wire already there? Or, is it for an amplifier where you need the heavier gauge wire?

Running the wires under the carpet can work but the Audio Cables are more delicate than you would think. They should be ran down the raceway same route your hardtop wires would go. I work for the company who put sound in the colts stadium. To be honest and get really nerdy with this. Do not run the power source with the audio cables it will interfere with it. You can really tell when this was down on long runs like 600ft+ lol
